Hey lovely people! Just a quick end of the month update for you.
          
          this week I'm going to be picking away at a new chapter for Lost in Litany, so hopefully I can have that ready for you all by the end of this weekend! If not by then, then I promise soon after; parts for that tend to take a little longer on average since they're lengthier. Once that's done, I'll hopefully be back in the groove for it, so it should be steady updates from there. 
          
          Editing on Abyss is still chugging along slowly but surely. I have it out to a dear friend of mine who's an editor who agreed to help out, and once she's finished with it, I'll be onto the final steps before sending out to publishers. Cross your fingers for me!
          
          Alright, that's all! Thank you all so much for reading! Hope you've been ejoying Red Door so far, and that you liked the new part :) I appriciate you dearly.

Also, I couldn't fit it in my last post, but there is another side story I'm working between main projects that'll be running here too! The chapters are shorter, so it's much easier to work on it in tandem with my other stuff, so expect to see updates to that until it's done alongside Litany.

Hey everybody! Got some big news for you today.
          
          for those of you who followed the link of my last announcement and read my update, you'll probably remember that I was in a really odd place with my writing; a major part of that being my work always tearing me away from my passion. 
          
          Well I'm happy to announce that after five years of saving, I'm finally doing something that I've wanted to for years now. Starting this Friday, I'll be stepping away from my current job and taking a year of personal time to pursue writing as a full job. 
          
          Over the years, I've never really done any big moves solely for myself, and I feel that now would be a good (and safe) time to push out of my comfort zone and take a leap of faith. If it works, then great! And even if it doesn't, I can always get a new job, and at least I can say I gave it an honest try and won't look back with regrets :)
          
          It's a little freaky leaving the certain stability, but I am very much looking forward to all the free time I'll have now to live life to the fullest, at least for a little while. I want to explore my home state a lot more, learn some new skills, and of course, get a whole lot of writing done!
          
          Editing for Metastasis is officially done, and while getting that published is still top priority, that means that  in my free time, I think I'm finally ready to get Litany sorted back out again and onto the rails! I've been waiting almost a year now to get the second act of that story to you all, and I hope you enjoy the reveals that are going to come with it as everything unravels ;)
          
          On top of that, I want to finally deliver on some of those mini-projects I've mentioned over the years; A compendium of monsters for Lost In, a couple of short stories--I'm running out of room but just know I have a lot planned for all the free time I'm about to have!

Hey yall, got another update for you this month, although wattpad is deffinitely NOT going to let me fit everything I need to say in a post here, so I'll drop a link to the page where I posted over on my reddit. Hey everyone!
          
          Just wanted to give a quick update and apology for the lack of Litany update for two weeks now :( been hitting a stubborn bout of writers block every time I get home from work and sit down to write. Which is annoying seeing as I was very excited to have just gotten back into it, haha.
          
          I promise with the time off I have for the holidays this week, I'm going to do my best to bring you all a chapter by next weekend, and if not then, very soon after! We're getting to the story beats I was most excited to work on, so I'm hoping my block will get chased away then!

Boy, what an intermission that was, huh? Here I was thinking I was going to take a short break from Lost in Litany to recharge and write a short story of maybe 10 parts max. Now here I am 6 months later with a full length novel in my documents...
          
          Thank you everyone who checked out Metastasis, I hope you enjoyed it! Now that it's over, I promise Litany will be back in motion! I'm so sorry for making you all wait while I recovered some motivation for it, but rest assured, I'm very excited to get back into it now! This book in particular was the one in the series I was looking forward to writing the most, so hopefully I can deliver on its ending!
          
          First though, since it is a series, I do want to make sure that I'm getting continuity right, as well as not repeating details I may have already covered. If you'll allow me just a little more time, I'm working to read back through lucidity, then litany to get the plot ironed out once more, then keep chugging along the track. After that, I'll be back to it! (With a little editing to possibly publish lucidity on the side, haha)

Hey everyone! Long time no see.
          
          For those of you that read my posts before I went silent, I mentioned that I was taking a break from Lost in Litany to work on some other writing projects that I wanted to do as a sort of 'refresher'. Well, turns out, that 'little side project' has turned out to be a bit longer than expected, and while it certainly isn't going to be a 'Lost in' length book, it's looking like it's forecasting to be about ISBU length.  (Although, clearly I have a bad track record of predictions, so take that with a grain of salt, haha). I've been getting a chapter out a week on it, though, so it should be wrapped up before summers end if all goes well. 
          
          I mentioned that I would be waiting until it was done to format it over here, but seeing as I'm taking so long, I didn't want to make you all wait, and since I'm on vacation this week and had some free time, I formatted all the past chapters on a plane ride so they're ready to post!
          
          I hope you all enjoy it! (pardon the placeholder cover; as I mentioned, I'm on vacation and didn't have time to whip up a proper one). As soon as it's done, I'll be back on Litany, I swear! Sorry to those of you desperately waiting. I think my break from it helped, as I genuinely miss those characters and that world, and can't wait to get back to writing it.

Hey, all! Long time, no update. 
          
          My apologies if I got anyone excited upon them seeing ISBU get updated; I just realized the other day that I never put an actual link to the physical version, so was just doing some housekeeping work today. I took a little break from writing the last week as I'm hitting a bit of slowdown on motivation for Lost in Litany.  Being pretty busy with work and life as of late, all of my free time ahs been mostly focused on that story, and I think it's starting to show.
          
          By no means am I done with it! I'm going to get back to it and hopefully have another chapter out to you all in the next week or two, but it may be a little more slow going for the next month or two. I have another writing project that I want to work on as a sort of side thing, so I'll be splitting my time between the two. 
          
          The 'Lost in' Series has been one of my favorite things to work on that I've done so far, but after spending the last couple years of my life with those characters and that story alone, I think it'll be nice to take a mini break from them, then come back with refreshed eyes. I've already written the first part to my little side project, and I could already feel the creative flow coming a lot more naturally as I worked compared to how Litany has been lately. 
          
          Unfortunately, for now, that new story is going to be hosted on my reddit account; kind of the opposite of how I usually do things. I normally post here, then reddit gets updates second, but this story is going to be formatted a little more to their style, so it'd be a little funky to try and post it on here. Don't worry, though, I'll still get you all a link for anyone who wants to check it out, and after it's done, I'll be sure touch it up, then get it posted over here!
