Hey guys! I’m so excited to share - I’m working on a new story! It’ll be posted here first, then released as a physical edition once it’s edited. Any guesses on who the main characters might be?

Sneak Peek 3:

ā€œWhy?ā€ he asked. ā€œWhy did she have to go through all of this? Why was she out there alone, getting passed around like she didn’t matter? Why wasn’t she with you – her family?ā€
The question hung in the air like a blade.
I felt my father’s presence shift beside me, his voice steady but low when he finally spoke.
ā€œWe have an enemy,ā€ he said, his tone grave. ā€œA man who wanted to hurt us. To take from us. Sabrina was only two when he had her taken. We searched for her, but he made sure we couldn’t find her. Not until… much later.ā€
I glanced at Liam, watching his jaw tighten. He didn’t interrupt. He just absorbed it, his face a careful mask, though I could see the anger flickering behind his eyes.
ā€œAnd this enemy?ā€ Liam asked, voice clipped. ā€œWhere is he now?ā€
My father’s lips pressed into a thin line. ā€œDead.ā€
Liam leaned forward slightly, his gaze sharpening. ā€œThen why doesn’t this feel over?ā€
ā€œBecause it’s not,ā€ I said before my father could answer. My voice was low; the words edged with anger I couldn’t keep down. ā€œThe man who took her, the one who ruined her childhood – he’s gone. But his son… his son won’t stop until he finishes what his father started. And we won’t let that happen.ā€
Liam studied us both, his expression unreadable. For a long moment, he didn’t speak. The muffled sounds of the fight club seeped faintly through the walls – the roar of a crowd, the sound of fists hitting flesh – but here, in this room, the silence felt heavy.
Finally, Liam’s lips curved into something that wasn’t quite a smile but wasn’t neutral either. ā€œGood,ā€ he said, his voice calm but laced with something dangerous. ā€œBecause if what you’re telling me is true, that kid deserves a war fought in her name.ā€
I clenched my fists, jaw tight. ā€œShe’ll get one.ā€
My father didn’t say a word, but his stare was colder than steel.
Liam leaned back in his chair again, folding his arms. ā€œThen I guess we’re all on the same side.ā€

Sneak peek 2:

She’d been through hell, I knew that now, but this picture… this was proof that she’d still found something worth fighting for in the middle of it all.
My father leaned closer, his hand resting on the edge of the desk, fingers curling slightly. He didn’t speak. He didn’t need to. The hard set of his jaw was betrayed by the way his eyes softened as he looked at his daughter and the baby boy she’d sworn to protect.
For a man like him, that softness was rare. Dangerous, even.
I felt my throat tighten as I studied her face, memorizing the curve of her smile, the way her body seemed to fold around Dario like she was shielding him from the world. I’d thought I’d known my sister, thought I understood the battles she’d fought. But this? This was another level. She hadn’t just been surviving for herself. She’d been surviving for him.
ā€œShe looks… happy,ā€ I muttered, almost to myself. My voice sounded strange in the quiet room.
Liam leaned forward, his voice low. ā€œThat boy gave her something no one else ever did. A reason to stay alive.ā€
My father finally straightened, his hands clasped loosely in front of him, his face unreadable but his silence deafening. I knew that look. Rage buried under control. Guilt, too, maybe. All of it masked behind that calm exterior he wore like armour.
I looked back at the photo one last time, my chest tight. She had been so young. So damn young, carrying a weight she shouldn’t have had to bear. And yet, somehow, she’d still been able to smile like that.
I slid the photo closer to me, like I was afraid it would disappear.
ā€œThank you,ā€ I said quietly, glancing at Liam. ā€œFor keeping this. For… being there for her when nobody else was.ā€
Liam gave a small nod, but his expression stayed serious, unreadable. ā€œShe was worth it,ā€ he said simply.
          And I believed him.
Liam sat back, folding his arms across his chest, eyes sharp as they flicked between me and my father. His voice was calm, but there was steel beneath it.

Guys, we’re so close - only two days until release day!
E-book pre-orders are live right now, and the physical copies will be available on October 21st. I honestly can’t wait for you all to dive in.
To celebrate, I wanted to give you a sneak peek from one of the new chapters I added to the book - one that hits deep and gives a glimpse into what’s really at stake.
Thank you for all the love and support - it means more than you know.

          Sneak Peek 1:

Liam opened a drawer in his desk and pulled out a small envelope. He didn’t have to search for it; he knew exactly where it was. He slid it across the desk toward us, his expression unreadable.
          ā€œI figured you’d come,ā€ he said. ā€œSo I had these printed for you.ā€
I hesitated before reaching for it. Inside was a crisp photograph fresh, glossy, like it had just come from a photo lab.
The image nearly stole the air from my lungs.
Sabrina sat on a couch, cradling a newborn in her arms. Her head was bent, her dark hair falling over her shoulder as she smiled down at him. A soft, genuine smile – the kind I’d almost forgotten she had. The baby was tiny, bundled in a blue blanket, sleeping peacefully against her.
          Dario.
My sister looked… whole in that moment. Not broken. Not lost. Just… Sabrina.
ā€œShe loved that boy like her own,ā€ Liam said quietly. ā€œFrom the second she met him. Swore to me he’d never go through what she did. And I believed her. Because she would’ve burned the world down before she let him suffer.ā€
I swallowed hard, my grip tightening on the photo. My father leaned in, his jaw tense, but his eyes softer than I’d seen them in years.
Liam sat back, watching us carefully. ā€œI kept everything I could,ā€ he added. ā€œBecause I knew one day, someone would come asking about her. And you needed to see her the way I did.ā€

Hey guys!
So apparently, paperback pre-orders don’t go live until the day of, or just a couple of days before, my scheduled release date. Unfortunately, only the eBook supports pre-orders right now (which totally sucks, I know).

But anyway… the book is complete! I’ve spent so much time editing it (four times, to be exact), and I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. The romance doesn’t really kick in until the end since this story mainly focuses on her bonding with her family - but don’t worry, the next book will be full-on romance (still sweet and emotional, but no smut).

I honestly can’t wait to start writing it! Any guesses on who it’s going to be about?
Here’s a little clue: this entire series will follow the Moretti brothers (minus Dario - our adorable cutie needs to stay little for a long time).

The release date for Bound by Revenge is October 21st (which also happens to be my birthday, yay! ). I can’t wait for you guys to read it! This book also features multiple POVs from different family members, so you’ll get to see everyone’s side of the story.

Thank you all so much for the support - I seriously can’t wait to share this world with you!

Make sure you are following my TikTok and Instagram @islajwren for spoilers.

Oh, and I’ll be adding bonus chapters on Wattpad a few days after the release date! So make sure you’ve added the book to your reading list because those chapters are going to be so worth it (I still need to start writing them, but I already have some fun ideas brewing ).

Thank you all so much for the love and support - I seriously can’t wait to share this world with you!

Pre-order for Kindle is live - 21/10

I've been working on Bound by Revenge for the past nine months, and it's been such an incredible journey. I first shared it chapter by chapter on Wattpad until the very end, but once it was finished, I realized I wanted to take it further - to make the story even better and put it into a physical book.

I'm so excited to finally tell you that the editing is complete, and Bound by Revenge is now live on Amazon for Kindle pre-order! The paperback version will be available very soon too, so keep an eye out.

If you've read Bound by Blood (the original version before I changed the title), then you're going to want to read this one - it's a much stronger, improved version of the story. Sabrina, Morana, Indigo, Reyka - whoever she chooses to be - are even more powerful and unforgettable than before. And trust me, Morana shines brighter than ever in this version.
