I mean, not like anyone's really waiting to hear from me, right?
The views aren't exactly pouring in.
Hardly any votes, barely a comment here or there.
I don't understand.
Is my story really not worth it? Is it my grammar? The pacing?
I just need to know, people. Am I writing tragic or tragically bad?
Maybe the characters are too shallow, or the plot’s just one massive, unpolished mess.
Hell, maybe I’m trying too hard to be clever and it’s just...stupid.
Are there no emotions? Is it flat, lifeless? Am I overestimating my ability to make people feel anything?
Every time I refresh open the app and see nothing, no new notifications, no validation, no proof that what I’m doing isn’t just a colossal waste of energy.
But if you do like it, maybe, just maybe, share it with a friend if you think it's worth their time.
No pressure. Nothing forced. Just if you trust them enough to not question you for suggesting something like this, something that may seem like a waste.
I mean, I’d appreciate it, of course.
But only if you feel it’s something your friend might actually enjoy. I know I’m asking a lot, but...
Anyway, even if nothing comes of it, I’ll keep going.
Because my story is beautiful.
I’ll write it even if no one’s here to read it.
Because it’s mine. Because there’s something in these words, in these characters, that matters, at least to me.

My beautiful, tragic, mostly coherent story will live on.
