I <3 kids shows/books that’s literally just fantastical racism and two kids looking at it and going “That’s stupid lol” before going on adventures together ngl

Why does it sound so easy to breathe on TV? /ref

Anything can be funny if you say it weird enough

I hate having hopes and dreams because that means I have to go through even MORE years of the fuckass school system before I can even do anything worthwhile

I wish FNAF actually tried to make the animatronics creepy instead of just giving them sharp teeth and calling it a day (looking @ you, nightmares….)

Like, they’re based off old Cuck E. Cheese animatronics, but they don’t really capitalize on what made them creepy in the first place

Where’s the large eye sockets and tiny eyes? Where’s the dull plastic eyeballs that barely (if at all) reflect light? Where’s the saggy fabric that looked like it could melt off and expose the skeleton underneath at any second? Stuff like that

I like most of the bear and rabbit designs (+ some of Chika’s iterations) ‘cause of their human-like teeth, as well as pretty much all of them having weird human feet for support too

But most of them are missing the subtle creepiness that old fashioned restaurants and animatronics have (especially Circus Baby and Ballora’s models)

I feel like I’d be into FNAF if it stayed firmly in its roots instead of trying its hardest to be ‘kid-friendly’

I know using the uncanny valley is pretty much a cliche at this point, but for designs that are supposed to be (somewhat) rooted in reality, it could be an amazing source of inspiration

Usually, humanoid aliens piss me the fuck off for a multitude of reasons, but……

What if there was a species of alien that’s completely different from humans in physiology, except for the face, which is uncannily similar?

Sure, we’ll be scared by them. But they’re even more scared of us

Like, they aren’t trying to kill us like 70% of other alien-related media, but they’re actively avoiding us out of primal instinct and/or personal bias they adapted from their peers

I feel like, with a premise like that, would bring basically unlimited potential for storytelling and worldbuilding and stuff like that

@InkyCreature that would be a really cool idea for writing honestly!! Them getting even worse uncanny valley from us then we get from them
