Honestly that's how a lot of people are reacting and I'm sorry that you're losing your friend over this. I don't condone the racism in this country but I also don't condone when people of my race are taking their frustrations out on innocent white people. I imagine you aren't the only one going through this because I've been seeing a lot of what you described. I hope your friend is able to see past the mistakes and the sins of a few and realize the ones committing the terrible crimes are not a representation of your whole race

And I'm not trying to be disrespectful and offensive. I hope anything I said didn't come off like that. I advocate all the time for what's right in a respectful way. And these crimes are one thing I am extremely passionate about because for one this is my community and 2 it's wrong. The acts of murder and the responses. I'm a firm Black Lives Matter supporter and the crimes that keep happening on my community are real

It's also more of the fact that cops have apprehended and taken down white criminals without killing them yet a 12 year old black boy can't play in a park with a toy gun in an open carry state. A black young man can't walk down the street with his hoodie up. A black man can't cell CD's or cigarettes. There is racism in these crimes committed by the police force. And no not all cops are bad and not all black people are good but we're getting slaughtered and they're justifying it. Yet the response would be totally different if it was a white person.
