Just downloaded the app. Names InuitTales. Since I was a kid I was always into strange and spooky stories I'd here from elders and from friends. I also had these kinds of experiences in person. Which is why I guess in into this sort of thing...but I know that those times were real. I always liked to hear scary stories from anyone who had one whether it's real or not. Either way they were entertaining some had morals and a few had lesson. Some were real and some weren't. It dragged on for quite a few years until I decided to dig into the rabbit hole and found myself indulging in these stories that countless people have talked about. I guess because it's part of my tradition or ancestral past. Because I'm Alaskan Native we have all kinds of stories 5hat are spooky and folklore as well. Urban Legends also have been my one subject for a while but then I find myself back to the stories Yuks(natives) would tell. About their experiences going out in the yuillquq(wilderness/tundra) and having been another person with a good scary story to tell around a fire or to groups of friends who live the adrenaline and rush they get after hearing these encounters. It's strange, but I find it interesting because I'm native. But like most people on this planet, we have one thing in common. Everyone has experiences out of the world stuff, saw some scary things, witnessed stuff some people never have. Or just experiences this and is able to confirm what they experienced was real because others have too. We all have urban legends, myths, and folklore which some are true and some are just to behave kids. I first got into thsi when I was young. I was 13 when I spooked myself but it wasn't fake was real. Even witnessed a ciinsiiq (an elf like creature) amongst a group of boys my age or older at the time. The yupik story teller known as John Active is one of my favorites. You can also hear some his stories he tells on YouTube.
