When you parents ask you what you're doing on your laptop but you don't want to say that you're cropping screenshots of your crush so you just say 'playing a game'...

That was the best 54 hours of 2017 (to me). She talked to me, high-fived me, smiled at me, laughed with me, even hugged me. I'll write more about it later, right now I need to unpack my stuff and let my heart flutter more.

It's 10pm here, and that's when I start feeling absolute shit. I'm just going to type until I force myself to go to sleep.

So, there's a girl in my school and she is a year 13 (so probably like, 17 years old) and she's so pretty. I don't know what but there's something about her that I find so extremely attractive. A lot of if is her personality too. Whenever I see her she is laughing or smiling, and every day it's with someone different. How many seniors would sit on the floor, instead of a chair? There are multiple problems with me liking her. 1. She's probably staright and therefore, I would have no chance. 2. She is 4 years older than me, which wouldn't always be much but 13 and 17 is a pretty big gap. 3. After the end of this year, I will never see her again. 4. She probably already has a boyfriend, or if she somehow happened to be gay, a girlfriend. 5. Oh, and she doesn't even know that I exist. Yeah, that's a big one. It seems that she is a magnet to me. I always manage to turn my head to glimpse her walking between two buildings, but she's never seen me, probably doesn't know I exist. I've spent hours stalking the few photos on her Facebook, but only one of her. Everything about her just draws me to her, I want to be near her, though when I am I can't concentrate. And then there's another girl, equally as beautiful. She definitely has a boyfriend; I saw them kissing the day before yesterday, but I better get some rest now so I can keep my eye out for them tomorrow and hope I see neither kissing anyone.

When she hugged him I assumed he was an old friend. They swayed side to side playfully, like a new branch, waving in the wind. Her hair blew to the side majestically, or maybe that was just my imagination. She pulled away, laughing as she clutched his forearm. He put his hand on her forehead. They were the perfect height for each other. She a few inches shorter than him, but perfect to look at. Then, he kissed her. I felt my heart smashing into a million shards, dispersing in all directions as I watched from afar. I couldn't bear to watch anymore, but I did. I wanted to look at her. They pulled away and I forced myself to shift my gaze, distracting myself by the girl who was even more beautiful walking past me. She was probably straight too though, knowing my luck.
