Nostalgia and Art in Sound
To hear concert halls be filled with music that once brought nostalgia to the people with their original composition, arrangement, and tones might take some time. Powerful sounds resonate within us and if we are to be given examples, romantic period music uprises. We classify the music from this certain period as classic because of its uniqueness. It has undeniable elegance and utmost originality with the composers’ imagination and rhythmic flexibility advances. Freeform music has been widespread as time flew, music evolved and turned into something new-- longer durations, smoother melodies. Now, one can create with larger instrumentations, created chromatic harmonies, and intense energy. Middle-class composers of the romantic era saw music as a means of individuality and an emotional variety of art, they were capable of channeling their full range of human emotions into something beautiful. Furthermore, this gives learners in the present time to go further and to remind them that you can channel a single idea, thought, or a strange mix of emotions into a form of art which is sound.
