My name is Iqbal.  I love meeting new people, interacting in activities that involve higher level thinking, although I can be quite lazy at times too.  If I had a choice I would love to just sit at home all day and play games, thankfully I am unable to do that.  It’s fun not doing anything at times, but I start feeling useless so I always gotta be up and doing something.  Back in grade 11 I went on to soul search a tad, and figured out I love the outdoors, but it wasn't till I watched Sharkwater that I really thought about it as a real career opportunity.  Watching Sharkwater really impacted me.  Personally I view nature and even the smaller things with so much more value.  I was actually quite depressed when I first watched the video, seeing how us as humans could be so cruel and still keep on doing something that could be so easily prevented.  Over the course of this last school year of mine, I've been diving in to any programs that I could find which involved the environment and helping it.  Maybe it’s for self fulfillment, maybe it’s something I don’t know, although all I really know is I enjoy doing it.  Next year I’m planning to attend College and learn about Environmental Landscape Management, hopefully it will turn out to be a great experience.  To be quite honest I’m quite anxious about the future and what it brings, but that’s the great thing about having a future, you never know what you’re going to do next.
