Well hello there stranger! 🌷

My name is Iris, and I'm a writer from the Netherlands with ink-stained fingers and a heart full of stories.

❤️✍🏼  I write because I must - because my heart is too full of stories not to spill them onto the page. I'm a romantically inclined creature with a restless imagination, which is why I often find myself weaving tales that live somewhere between the flutter of a kiss and the shimmer of a spell. Romantasy is my home genre: magic laced with longing, danger wrapped in desire.

But I'm not bound by genre. I also write short stories, snapshots of wonder or absurdity, little worlds that bloom and vanish within a few pages. And then there's non-fiction - columns where I wrestle with real-world themes like feminism, women's rights, and social justice. I believe humour can be sharp as a dagger and soft as a wink, and I try to wield both.

✨ My writing tends to be bold, playful, and occasionally a little unruly - much like the characters that inhabit my mind. If there's one thing I love, it's creating something that feels both unexpected and true.
