I obviously don’t normally get into this stuff, but I feel strongly about the lack of proper representation in Natlan. I’m white, so obviously my opinion in this does, in fact, matter less, since it’s not, for instance, Polish culture that’s being used. However, it feels wrong to me to heavily base a nation in the game off of non-white cultures and just completely ignore the thing that makes that culture so beautiful and vibrant, the thing that makes that culture live: The people. I don’t think it’s right to just ignore their existence and take everything else they have to offer.

It probably won’t do much, but there is this petition (https://chng.it/tYbpvFKCtw), so sign it on the off chance it might help make some sort of change. Hoyo does sometimes listen to the fanbase, so it could potentially do something.

The best way to attempt to improve the situation, though, is to boycott. At the end of the day, Hoyo is a company. Any damage to their bottom line will make more of an impact than complaining on the internet. I was already mostly F2P anyway, but I’m not spending another cent on their games until this shit is fixed, and if it doesn’t get fixed, I just will never spend any money on them again. I think it’s important to include all their games in this (HI3, HSR, ZZZ), not just Genshin. It makes more of an impact, especially with how recent ZZZ is.

So there’s my personal call to action. It’s small, but try and spread this sort of message if you care.

Okay, listen.

I already liked Clorinde. Kinda tomboyish, refined, very stoic, and not to mention, she's a woman in suit-like clothing.

And then, while reading fanfic, I find out she is also a nerd with in-game D&D.

          Why can't fiction be real?

Sorta working on a new version of SILVR in my freetime. The extra letter changed.

The difference between SLVRR and SILVR is quite simple, really. SLVRR was about five nerds trying to save the world. SILVR is about five nerds with tragic backstories filled with “Death & Daddy Issues” trying to save the world.

Actually having time to write this book again feels so good. It’s been my passion project for a while and it’s been sitting in the back of my mind forever, and now I can finally put fingers to keys again and I forgot how much I love the story. I hope to share it with you all someday.

Happy Haloween, and happy birthday to our girl Ruby Rose.

So, because I've been radio silent for a while, here's SILVR's Haloween costumes:

Simin Megistus: Goes all out and creates a super intricate Dracula costume in about 5 hours because SILVR just convinced him to go trick-or-treating with them (he's never done it before and thinks it's for kids, but he ends up loving it)

Finneas Iblar (new name!): Mario (with Yang as Peach and Ruby as Mario; only goes because Ruby wants to, Yang helps him with the anxiety (he doesn't handle horror very well, even light stuff))

          Lycan Arcadia: Frankenstein's Monster
Vella Moisia: Doctor Frankenstein (these two dorks are inseparable the entire night, partially because they love each other, partially because they keep doing the same "it's alive!" bit at every house)

Ragora Cinarum: You expect her to be a witch, right? Too easy. She subverts all expectations and goes with a professional-grade Pennywise costume (she loves Haloween, so her costume has to be perfect, but Fin is legit kinda scared of her)
