Though chapter 1 is supposed to start off with an in medias res, it may be confusing and hard to follow through it, as context is needed to provide an answer of what’s really going on/where the story’s going. I have just now edited the beginning of the chapter, giving the backstory a slightly more in-depth explaination. I’ve also edited Ivy’s narration in the beginning. You don’t need to re-read the whole chapter, but I suggest taking a look at what I’ve edited so that things are a little bit less messier:)
