Hey, I saw your message on the Wattys board and I literally had to add you after that. Dude, I was saying the same thing. It's blatant hypocrisy.
@IsabelTownsend I honestly feel like it's all fake at this point. Like if there really is money involved, it's going to who they want to give it to. Then they sell us a lie, take our money from subscriptions and coin purchases, but leave us with nothing. I sadly don't know any better alternatives. I'm honestly gonna just self pub on Amazon KDP and support fellow authors.
@AuthoressKayla WTF?? That’s so horrible! Especially considering the prize is such a large amount of money. And yeah the glorifying of toxic romance is pretty absurd. It could at least be written well On that note, any recommendations for less corrupt writing websites to post on?
And the fact that there are promoted books that glorify gangs/mobs/SA and some are just straight pornographic, but smaller creators get their books removed.
