Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
This year has been a difficult and trying one for so many. Most felt as though they were just treading above water, feeling like we would drown at any moment. This year was one that tested us all, the world as one.
To those that also have their own business, it was a one of the hardest for all of us. My heart wrenched every time someone I cared about announced they would be closing their doors permanently, saying goodbye to their dreams.
We lost people we care about to the virus, suicide, overdose and violence.
We were tested in ways most have never been tested. As we say good bye to 2020 and move into the new year we know that it’s not over just yet abs we just remain resilient and strong together.
Remember to help those you can if you’re able. You may be struggling too so reach out, there is support in community and sometimes all it takes is asking for it, for someone to give you their hand to show you the light you need to see.
Hope is something that so many want to hold on to but it can feel like we’re starting to slip, losing grip on it. Don’t give up, don’t lose hope.
No one can do everything on their own. That’s a lesson I had to learn and now help people around me realize.
We can be the kindness that shapes the year ahead and the years to come.
If we have nothing else to give we can always offer kindness, it’s free.
Just like a heartbeat life is full of ups and downs. It’s when those end that we flatline.
To a healthy, safe and and loving year ahead.
May your hearts desires manifest this year.
Happy New Year to all.
