Hello.
My name is Isla.
I am a sixteen year old aspiring author, attempting the challenge of writing my first book. I will be posting, this book, up on here; to hopefully gain a wide range of opinions that will help towards improving my work or/and giving me the courage and support to look into the possibility of publishing my work.
I am not yet near completion, but I hope to have my completed first draft finished some time in February (2015). Once I have ironed out any flaws (That I can locate) and I have edited and added my work- I will then post it on here.
I'm new at writing, and only recently was it that I started to take a significant interest I'm writing; also in reading and a possible future career involving English Literature . I am not the best of writers, in fact I would say I am way on the other end of the spectrum. But this is something I enjoy and so I'm giving it a try.
In the months to come, between now and February, I will no doubt end up posting other, smaller works I have done or am simultaneously working on.
I would really appreciate any comments, and advice anyone has. Be critical, but don't be mean. :)
