Hello, hope you all had a good start to the new year :) I think I have a new story idea, but this would be my own original work. I was thinking something along the lines of this princess who ends up on a pirate ship for reasons (I'm not going to give the whole plot away because my idea is very rough right now.) She would have a love interest but her journey would be about sort of coming out of her shell and letting loose, and this would symbolise her breaking away from patriarchal values and expectations. Maybe she'd even become a pirate captain :)
Except, I realised this is basically just Elizabeth Swann's journey in POC. The only difference is I want to make my mc Indian. Also when I'm brainstorming the plot, I'm realising it has some similarities to Sinbad So idk if I should even write this. Should I? Shouldn't I?
