I've just finished reading your book Liberate you, Liberate me. You've written it beautifully but the story isnt agreeable. Dillon locks Libra in a shed for FIVE DAYS, reforms himself into a better person, makes better decisions and is genuinely remorseful and apologetic for all he's said and done in his high school days but does that make it okay? Libra develops a deep, dark fear of small spaces which hinders her from moving on in life, has to go for therapy and suffer all the emotional and mental trauma that comes later on. Her forgiving Dillon I still understand, holding grudges has never gotten anyone anywhere. But her accepting Dillon as a friend and maybe more is unacceptable. Not all stories have to end with the characters ending up as friends or lovers, sometimes its okay for them to simply forgive, forget and move.
