http://chng.it/YBtnKtdkrD Okay, so as per usual the American government are being dumbasses so plz sign this petition to help stop Idaho from passing the bill of killing off 90% of their Wolf population (which compared to their state's size & over states it isn't that many wolves). Their 'reason' of passing this bill is because they are a 'threat' to ranchers & their livestock & hunter's chances of killing Deer (which really we don't need especially when half of them hunt FOR GAME). 1) These Wolves should not be killed cuz they're still considered criticality endangered. 2) Wolves could give less fucks for people's livestocks, you would usually have to worry more about Coyotes or Foxes than Wolves. 3) Killing 90% of them is inhumane to them & the ecosystem, did they forget about Yellowstone Park's wolf incident? 4) So their goal is bringing the Wolves population (which is around 1,500, which again is not that many) down to ONLY 150 or less which is an insane difference, instead of killing 1,300+ wolves that people have worked so hard to raise the population of they should at least rehome them somewhere more suitable for them (which still isn't good, but better than killing them all), killing them is not fair, & killing them so abruptly is going to make it worse. 5) The stability of the ecosystem should be their TOP PRIORITY over rancher's livestock (which again Wolves usually stay away from) & Hunter's hunting. 6) some of the consequences of killing them is 1- The Coyote population is going to become bigger, which then would KILL MORE Livestock their claiming is the reason for this bill 2- Deer & Elf population would also SKYROCKET, which in turn will mean less foliage & more car accidents which = more deaths & eventually changing the course of a river, JUST LIKE WITH YELLOWSTONE PARK! & Honestly i could keep going on about this but if you search this up you'll see more on this topic.

@ItWasAgathaAllAlong Exactly! Look at Yellowstone- they killed the wolves in the 1920s and then the whole ecosystem basically shattered after the elk populations skyrocketed since wolves are the keystone predators and kept the ecosystem in balance. Since their reintroduction in 1995, wolves have brought down the populations of elk (they're no longer starving to death in the winter because they've completely overgrazed) and the entire ecosystem is bouncing back and recovering. Yellowstone is a great example of why you shouldn't remove wolves from an ecosystem And a healthy wolf pack will not hunt livestock; they will go after their natural prey, like elk. Their hunts are oftentimes unsuccessful, even when they're healthy. But a weakened pack will be forced to go after weaker prey, like sheep. The bill is aimed at helping ranchers with wolf depredation... Also, elk populations aren't struggling, which is a 'reason' as to why 90% of the wolves should be slaughtered. They're doing just fine and I think are above what they were when wolves were reintroduced in the 1990s. The bill is without science. If you took a look at science, it would tell you to NOT kill 90% of the wolves. Or really 90% of anything; ecosystems are so intertwined and every species has its own important job to do so it can run smoothly. There is no reason for the wolves to be killed. They're just trying to survive It's terrible that this bill was made. It's only political motivation and wolves happened to be the ones being targeted. There are non lethal ways to keep wolves from preying upon livestock and to live alongside them
