Opinion poll: which do you prefer to read: first person present tense or some form of third person past tense?
I’m more of a first person present tense kind of girl, but that’s just my preference. I enjoy feeling like I’m in the action, so that safe distance between the reader and the characters can be a bit aggravating for me.

@Itanna I like third person, but sometimes first person is good if you don't want to make it clear who's speaking, like a mystery.

I read both and no real preferences but have read more 3rd person. It’s not the POV that draws me to the story, but how it is written and the content of that story. I’ve found a stories really interesting but because it didn’t have paragraphs i could read any more than a couple of chapters, but the story did interest me, but it was unreadable in the long run.
Writers should write in the format they feel best suits themselves and the story they are wanting to tell.

@AhmanetteVapor that’s awesome. I can’t write in third person, I find it so hard to write that way (just because I’m a first person pov enthusiast) and I should probably work on that lol.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I've unpublished a few stories. Don't worry, they will be back! I just haven't had the time or motivation to work on them, but I plan on expanding upon them and tightening up the language before I post them again. I will keep you all updated on their status or when I plan on publishing them again.
Lastly, I would just like to thank you all for your continuous support of my writing and of me as I continue to work on my manuscript andthese stories.
