Thanks for the advice. He's one of my friends and he isn't as conceited as he sounds, being popular. And I also have never been on a date, my grades are important to me if I want to get into honors classes. There were rumors going around the school that he was going to ask me out, but then some girl asked him out first. She's one of my close friends and I hadn't realized I had a crush on him until this year. I don't realize I like someone until they're gone.
