          I’ve been seeing some negative comments about A Heart We Didn’t Choose, especially about Charlotte not being “equal” to Engfa and being left at home all the time. 
          
          Please take a moment to re-read the introduction. I clearly mentioned that this is a soft love story inspired by old traditions, where living with in-laws and family drama are major parts of the plot. I also said that this story is different from other EngLot stories.
          
          This is the story I chose to write, and the characters will grow and develop as the story progresses.
          
          If this type of story isn’t for you or if it’s upsetting you, I completely understand. Please feel free to read another book that better matches your preferences.

          How are you all doing? I hope everyone is fine. I just wanted to pass a little information to you all. I think A Heart We Didn’t Choose might be coming to an end very soon. For now, I think we have about 14 chapters left to finish the story, though I might decide to add more later — I’m not fully sure yet 
          
          As you all know, I’ve been very busy lately, and I also don’t want to leave all my books unfinished. Because of that, I’ll be cutting a lot of the unnecessary drama so we can continue the story beautifully and give it a soft, happy ending. Of course, there will still be emotional moments and little hardships, but nothing too heavy, and everything will move faster now ❤️
          
          I’ll also try my best to make each chapter around 10,000 words from now on. Thank you all so much for always supporting me and staying with this story. Let’s finish A Heart We Didn’t Choose together beautifully ❤️
