Good Morning ❤️❤️. I just want to thank all of you who showed love to both of my stories while I’ve been gone. I had to take a 3 week break off of here because I was suffering from bad burn out and had to recharge, but I came back and decided to resume Drills and Desires after thinking things over.
It would be unfair to not only myself but to the readers who have taken their time to invest their time and energy into reading it and supporting the story, and I also appreciate y’all for still sticking around. With that being said, thank y’all so much for almost 3k reads on Drills and Desires and 13k reads on The Unquiet Storm. It really means a lot. I also have a few chapters coming on later on today as well. Just had to let y’all know that I’m not abandoning Drills and Desires, I just had to take a step back.

Hey guys, just being honest. I’m feeling a bit burnt out. I love writing Drills and Desires for y’all and it’s one my favorites as well, but seeing a high read count on a lot of my chapters, and seeing y’all voting and commenting less and less as I get further into the story makes me feel like the story is no good and y’all aren’t enjoying it anymore. Plus it can get a bit lonely because I love interacting with y’all. It can be disheartening and demotivating at times, and I’ve been pondering for a while now whether to just keep writing or discontinue it because some days I feel like I’m just writing into a void and I get ignored. It’s only so much I can motivate myself to try to finish. I am writing for myself, but y’all just don’t see how much interaction motivates me and gives me that extra push to keep going.
If y’all don’t want to support me anymore after this, I completely understand. I was just getting tired of being quiet about it because I find myself getting more and more increasingly frustrated. And I know having silent readers is normal because everyone does, but seeing a lot of people that were there in the beginning dropped the story honestly hurts. I just didn’t say anything at first and just sucked it up because I don’t want anyone to feel guilty or feel like I’m pressuring them and trying to let it happen naturally. I just wished y’all gave me some type of signal if y’all still like it or not.

@Varkon- hey I really appreciate this message a lot, and I’m back and took a break ❤️. I was contemplating on giving up at first, but as I took the break I changed my mind and realized that it wouldn’t be fair to those who invested time and energy into reading and following along and supporting my story so I’m going to continue it for those people. I’m glad you get where I’m coming from because it’s definitely not easy and I have my hard days. And I’m very grateful that you acknowledged that and recognized that because I really do enjoy interacting with you guys and never want to make any reader feel unseen. I’m glad I could inspire you in some way ❤️
@ItsBri__3 I also agree, you should definitely take a break. And even if you don't have the motivation to continue with the story, you have every right to make that decision. Your feelings are completely valid when it comes to the lack of interaction from readers, even those that have dropped the story, which is something I had also realized myself. It's upsetting to hear it has made you feel the way that you do. And that's definitely the biggest reason why a break should be had and no one should blame you for that. My biggest appreciation about you as an author is that you communicate and respond to your readers, and most don't. It surely isn't easy to write for a book, and seeing you update and write as much as you have been, has sparked my own creativity.

Hope y’all having a good morning, afternoon, or evening wherever y’all are located in the world. I apologize for the late story update that was supposed to be released yesterday, but I got caught up with some things and yesterday was a little busy and all over the place, and I was tired.
Instead of my posting schedule being Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, I just wanted to let y’all know ahead of time in advance that I’ll possibly be changing it just a little, and it will now be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. I hope that’s okay with y’all. On another note, I just released chapter 19 of Drills and Desires❤️❤️. Hope y’all enjoy the update.

hey mylove, i read through your book and i think it’s great. i personally like to space my paragraphs out a bit more and cut them in half, but that’s just my personal writing style… i don’t have anything negative to say. you did great mama! <3
