Hi, Duchess. Thanks ever so much for voting for Risking All for Love.

I was once a teacher at Holy Cross Mission in the remote village of Bolahun, Liberia, where my story begins.

My experience in West Africa is woven into my narrative, and real people inspired my characters.

As a gesture of respect, I based my character Mother Elizabeth is based on my former student, Elizabeth Sele Mulbah. However, if you Google her name, you'll find that she's larger than life.

My portrayal of that nurse, who risked life daily during their civil war to bring the only medical help available during years of fighting, pales in comparison to her extraordinary bravery.

Years after their civil war I introduced my wife to Elizabeth, saying she was the bravest woman my wife would ever meet.

Elizabeth said humbly that "God allowed" her to do what she did.

I'm delighted you found my stories.

Fortunately your country is economically better off than Liberia.

          Enjoy my story.

          It's nice to meet you.
