I'm thinking of deleting this account and starting over but I'm very proud of Son of a Preacher so I don't want to at the same time. I'm just not into writing or reading the genres I was before. I was very into boyxboy books in my youth but as I get older I'm less into it. I still love the LGBTQ community and I like reading books here and there where the main character is gay of course. But I went through an obsession before and I'm growing up and very much into mystery books now and horror. Romance books have to be special to hold my attention. I just want to explore different things writing wise if I get back into it and not limit myself but just being a boyxboy writer. Who knows maybe I'll find the inspiration to finish the Son of a Preacher series I had originally planned to write. I was going to have a whole series each book in a different place in time with different characters fighting LGBT rights. I'm still passionate about that at least but I'm honestly not sure where I was going with it since I last wrote anything for it was so long ago. Heck I'm not sure anyone still even pays attention to my books on here just thought I write since Wattpad said they featured my book last year which is cool and I don't know if that attracted any new readers or not.

As someone who also struggles with this, my advice is to not delete your account. Leave your books up to be read. Your stories can survive and gain new readers even without your attention, but if you delete your account, the stories come down with it. If you want to compartmentalize genres, you can create a new account and come back to this one if the urge ever strikes again (I have like 3. All it takes is an email address) Otherwise, I'd suggest making that leap with the same account. You've already got some followers here, which means you've got a leg up for getting new readers here. Nobody will be mad at you for writing what you feel inspired to write, even if it's not in the same vein as the other stories you've written. If someone's not into the new story, they simply won't read it. Same for the old when the new brings in new followers. But giving them the option never hurts.

Hey there, this actually this first time I've been on Wattpad in years. I honestly hope one day I can come back to finish my books but I'm a stay at home mom to 8 month old twins currently. So it's very hard to find time to write. I also need to figure out where I was even going with the plot it's been so long and while I originally had note I've since lost them. Writing is definitely a huge passion of mine and I'd really like to get back into it in the future. I also have been more into Horror then romance these days, it's probably because I get enough from my husband. I've always been a fan of horror though and maybe I'll write some of that genere in the future but with a LGBTQ protagonist since I don't see enough of that these days anyway. I wish I could draw because I'd turn Son of a Preacher into a webtoon but alas I don't have such a talent. I'm actually way more into webtoons than actually reading books these days probably another reason why I haven't been on here. I feel terrible though because I know what it's like to really like a story and the author disappears and never finishes it. I hope you guys can understand where I'm coming from. Right now I'm just in mom mode constantly and it's rough but I do love my kids so very much. I will be back to reading on here some so if you have any book suggestions please let me know.

My editing/update schedule:
Son of a Preacher: 2-4 edits every Sunday
Delinquents in Training: 1-2 updates every Sunday
The sequel to Son of a Preacher is on hold until I'm done editing the first book.

Any new books or ideas that I may come out with will be released every two weeks until I'm done with Delinquents in Training.

I know I said this last time but this time I'm actually back and I even posted a new chapter for my Delinquents in training book. I'm also editing Son of a Preacher and once that's done I'll be back to working on the sequel. Honestly this last year was rough on me and I was going through some stuff but now I'm in a much better place!

@kimjunsehun I'm so sorry. I haven't actually been on here in forever and for some reason I hardly get notifications but you're very welcome dear. Thank you for reading my book! I'm glad you enjoyed it, it means a lot to me. I'm actually currently editing it and then I'm going to continue writing the sequel to it.

Okay now I'm back officially and more than ready to jump back into writing. I want to say thank you to everyone who's voted on my book. Honestly I know it's not the best grammar wise. It was really more of a passion project that I didn't see going anywhere. Somehow it did though and I'm very happy that it did. I plan on writing some different types of stories on here besides LGBT themed. I will still continue with the books I was currently writing but lately I've been obsessed with short stories and poems.
