Growing up, I was amazed at the things I didn't have at the moment. A videogame console, a computer, the most modern cellphone, a bunch of friends... those are things that I told my parents and myself to accomplish. Our economy situation required more attention for the food, clothes, water and first hand necessities than look up for things that don't help us change the way we're living.
Growing up, I understood that I don't need none of it to feel complete. At least the most newest phone but just one that can make phone calls, take photos and with Internet accessibility to reach for information and open my mind to a different world.
Growing up, made me realize that I have to enjoy my day to the fullest, bring love to one another, an smile, a hug. Tell the people how special they are. How capable we are. We're the most powerful tool this planet needs to help the future generations live in a wiser, wonderful place. To evolve the lifes we're in and make 'em feel less heavy.
Growing up, I understood there's no time to hate. No time to waste. No time to discriminate. No time to judge. Although, we gotta use this time to develop our dreams. The dreams of a world in which everyone embraces love, in little or bigger portions, it doesn't matter.
Growing old is a stressful way if you think of it instead of working your way up to live life properly and make your days feel such as the last day you'll ever lived.
The passing of Cameron Boyce at 20 years old made me reflect on what I've been up to these 20 years God gave me the grace to. I think it's time we do big. In every aspect, as human beings.
Have a nice day. Let your loved ones know, too.
