@Omayra55 it's insane how many people do this to other talented writers. I'm just gonna blame it on ignorance. Also, the fact that they think, "the author will never find out" thinking that people who read her work wouldn't realize and direct the attention to the original author. I can't say this enough, people who wish to try and write on any platform, educate yourselves before writing.

It would violate the contract we signed if that was true. So, they only remove when the author who reports provides enough proof of the act. Got so many people on this site spouting false information.

The nerve of some people to be so outrightly shameless and also be proud about it is quite disappointing to say the least. I would like to understand on thing, what makes a person so desperate that they're able to so blatantly plagiarise someone and be so nonchalant about it. Does it feel good to destroy someone's effort just because they themselves could not put some of their own. I don't know, I can't understand. All I can say is I feel sorry.

Accusing someone of something without proof is wrong. There will always be similarities in genres and tropes because that is just how it is. These two books are different. Just because there are scenes that may look the same doesn’t mean it’s stolen. I could pull several random mafia books that pre-date both and see these same elements. Maybe you should allow Wattpad conduct their investigation which takes time instead of tar and feathering a person who is innocent of the crime you are accusing her of. Please do better.
