@NitaKaye thank you for your kind words. I am glad for the good memories. There are so many to recall. Lots of laughing and joking around. I am looking forward to the day when they outweigh the grief. I haven’t given up on my story and hope to get back to it soon. Right now, my concentration has abandoned me and it is getting done in small bursts.

Hello all. I apologize for the long absence. For those who don’t already know, my world got shaken badly six weeks ago. On May the 10th, my 20 year-old daughter went to visit her grandmother with her boyfriend. That night, a deranged man (looking for someone who didn’t live there) broke in and severely injured my brother, Emily’s boyfriend and Emily. She died on scene. This last month has been hell and I’ve shed more tears than I have ever in my life. She was my only child and to have her taken so violently is something I am struggling to come to terms with. 
          
          That being said, I find myself being drawn to the comfort (and distraction) of my writing. I sat down for the first time last weekend and lost myself for a few hours going back over what I’d written for chapter 36. It felt good to be amongst old friends again and I’m looking forward to diving back in. 
          
          Thank you for your patience and understanding and I am hoping to have the next installment ready to go soon.

Sorry to disappoint you guys this weekend. The next chapter is only about half done. I just didn’t get the time I needed to get it finished. I’m going to be working on it every minute I can this week so I can get it to you for the weekend...I hope ‍♀️

Update....fixing Chapter 21 is coming along, but turned into way more than I’d expected. Going in, I swear Tabby was whispering in my ear, telling to slow down Marcus’s roll. She needed more time to deal with her issues. 
          
          Suffice it to say, Chapter 21 now has over 1000 words of new content that helps make Tabby’s reactions more believable, considering the shit she’s been through. 
          
          In order to make everything mesh, Chapter 20 lost its last paragraph and the new 21 should be up in a few days. 
          
          Sorry to keep you guys on hold, but I think it’s going to be worth the wait. 

Omg, chapter 21 disappeared! Have no fear, I’ll get it back up as soon as I can. I screwed up, and discovered a big inconsistency when I was listening to it today. Ugh. Very embarrassing. It was bound to happen with the way I write. Well, I’m fixing the boo-boo and will have it back up soon. Sorry guys. I must have been on glue when I was editing it yesterday to have missed it. 

Life’s been kicking my butt lately, but I have a funky new keyboard and can’t wait for Saturday to get here so I can try it out.  I just noticed that I’ve got a bunch of new followers. Pardon me while I squee like a little girl. How freaking cool are you guys? Seriously! I’m tickled to have you all reading my stories and ❤️ you all!

Hi there
          I really like reading your books. I just have an observation i made. I dont mean to disrespect you. But you write way too much after dialogues, which breaks the flow of the reader. 

Oh I'm dieing from anticipation! Need book 3 please! Giggles ignore me being dramatic I'm just so excited to see what is in store for our trio.

Any progress on book 3 please?...I'm dying to read it lol
