A follow up on the last update from last year (last year??? Damn time really does go fast...)
I wish it didn't have to come to this but I might have to go on a hiatus again. I just haven't been having the inspiration/motivation to write since the incident that happened to me after my vacation (which I will not be discussing further). Another reason being that I want to really lock in for the upcoming spring semester of my 2nd college year if I want to graduate on time and transfer to my dream 4 year college, and unfortunately writing fanfics may get in the way of that.
I'm really sorry for putting off updates for so long and for doing this, I feel disappointed with making this choice because I really do love writing and creating stories and sharing my work with people who are willing to give the time to see it. But I feel it's necessary for the time being and I can't promise if I'll be able to come back and update again. I hope you'll understand.
Hope you all had a Happy (late) New Year and to those who had a terrible 2025 like I did, I hope 2026 will be kinder to us

Hey everyone, so sorry for lack of updates/activity. The following month after my vacation week has not been great at all and I became more depressed/unmotivated with everything for a while. Rn I'm currently in my second semester of community college and have been focusing on school work/boosting my gpa/etc while slowly going through the process to transfer to a 4 year college. That and working part time on top of that.
So yeah, very busy and burnt out for the most part. I've been writing/rewriting a few stuff in between when I have the time though they aren't ready for official publish. Hopefully when this is all done I can do regular updates again because I really want to

As you can probably tell I have not updated at all this month and I don't think I will anytime soon due to ongoing writer's block and stuff thats happened in my personal life that I'm still mentally processing. To combat the writer's block, I have been going back and making some edits/tweaks to some of the previous chapters and currently I'm tweaking Chapters 8 and 9. I'm going to try to update sometime during August after my vacation week

I'm having a bit of writer's block atm and work has drained me so I'm reading other stuff as well as maybe add a few tweaks to older chapters
Also you should watch Kpop Demon Hunters on Netflix it's actually really good (coming from someone who doesn't even care for kpop much and only went through that phase to impress my middle school peers)

@Chickengirl250 How I interpreted is that the demon slaying part of their identity is still not known to the public and they all saw the fight as very advanced special effects (plus on the account they were brainwashed I don't think they realized that either lol) I was hoping we would get to see a flashback of Rumi's parents but alas. I figured bearing a demon child is fatal for a mortal to handle so it adds up. Maybe in the possible sequel Rumi will meet her dad (that is she didn't accidentally kill him already lol). Im already thinking that the sequel would be about Huntrix trying to find a way to free all the demons' souls since it's been shown they were just ordinary people who got possessed by the demon king (forgot his name lmao) Also I just want Jinu to come back cause... come on he didn't deserve that

@IvyTheChee My biggest question at the end was basically: DO THE CIVILLIANS KNOW ABOUT THEIR DEMON-HUNTING SIDE NOW, OR DO THEIR MEMORIES GET MAGICALLY ERASED?! Yeah, I wanted to see more of the character's backstories. Rewatchable, indeed. :D

@Chickengirl250 The ending kinda stinks and some stuff felt underdeveloped/rushed/not explained enough. Other than that, I give this film a solid 8.5/10. Seems like they're setting up for a sequel, which I hope they do. Animation and songs are fire, characters were fun, it was colorful, vibrant, and lively and you can tell the directors/writers did a lot of hw on Kpop and that dedication/care really shows. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, can't remember the last time I had this much fun watching a movie. I'll be doing multiple rewatches, including one with my friends
