Alright, this is too much. First of all, Voltron may have seemed rushed because they were at an episode limit - 13 though out the whole show, that's why some seasons were split. Now, in my opinion, I really dont think it was rushed. There was a lot of character development, at least in Lance and Keith's case. Watch the first episode then the last and see how much those two have changed. As a klance shipper, yes, the scenes where Allura and Lance kissed made me cringe a bit but I see why DreamWorks would put those two together. They'd make great parents and they compliment in each other in ways like Klance does to each other. And Lance was never a forced hetero - sure, I felt some weird pressure when I was watching the season, bet he's always LIKED Allura. An honestly, people who didn't see the ending coming must have just go into fandoms or dont really pay much attention to what's happening. Not to insult, but the foreshadowing was there. If people watch or read romantic fics (I only read yaoi ones though) would've known that a couple doesn't just take a happy picture at the beginning of the last season of the show (or movie, it doesn't matter), with one having healing powers, mind you, and expect them to live through till the end. I didn't see it before this season, but when Allura healed the garden, I knew something bad was gonna happen to her, I just didn't know if it would be permanent. And I understand, for all the Lance x anyvoltroncharacter shippers that the Allurance kiss scenes weren't ideal, but you have to at least appreciate the show for what its given you. Honestly, after Allura SACRIFICED herself, I thought the fandom would explode with klance shippers going nuts on the fanfics, trying to write what would happen afterwards. I knew that there would be hate but I didn't think that the first posts I see about season 8 would be THAT hate.
