My mom wanted my brother to pull weeds in the front yard but instead of saying that, she said “go do the weeds” and my brother started laughing and my mom and I immediately knew why he was laughing but the thing is he is 10 YEARS OLD and shouldn’t have even seen anything funny about the sentence and my mom asked knowingly “why is that so funny?” And my brother said I taught him what weed was. long story short: I got grounded for something I didn’t fucking do I’m a good kid I swear!
