Iyayi Ezomo

So I got into reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, it's awesome, but then when I got to Heroes Of Olympus, the second series, I got stuck on Mark of Athena, 3rd book of the second series(for a lot of reasons that are just annoying to get into), so I started reading the Artemis Fowl series. 
          Does anyone have any really good book series recommendations that fit the genre of like adventure, action, sci-fi type shit?
