Quick story time:-
Today my mama was talking about how our neighbours were back bitching about me. So my papa commented, " They don't know my daughter that's why they are saying rubbish. Let them, their impression doesn't even matter!" And my mama, too, agreed to it. And they then said a traditional saying which basically means; you speak absurdities when you can't match the pace.
During this whole conversation, I was so taken back to even look at the expression on their face. They look forward to me in so many things, and it was their way of encouraging their children that they are grateful to them. It's my silent vow to make my parents happy and make all their hardships worth it!
Sharing, so that you all know, being the eldest child is a blessing rather than a curse, most of the time. Not everyone is as blessed to be able to have their parents' trust at this level (Sometimes I'm baffled to notice how much my parents trust me). So make their trust pay off! It can be hard at times, but you're born when millions of sperm had to fight for one egg and the one that succeeded, built you! (I'm severe on my mood swings now)
Byee~ Good night! ✨
