Why I Write

As an avid reader and writer I have learned so many different amazing things about words. I am fascinated by words; they put me into another world that I can't even begin to explain. I've known words. I've known words passionate as lovers captivated in each other's eyes and more soothing than the wind whispering sweet nothings into your hair. My soul has grown mighty like my words.
I write because I want change the world, I want to change young black girl's lives. In the world there is not many stories based on a black leader and I want to change that. I want to show women that romance is still alive. I want to show the world that love is more than just a fantasy, its reality. Romance is not just something that you read in a book or something you see on the television screen. I believe that love is something that lives in us all.
I write because I want to bring Romance to life. I write because it is the one thing that can bring my inner voice out of. Writing isn't a hobby for me, it is an instinct. Writing is my human nature, something that grows inside of me every day of my life. Every time I throw my imagination on a paper something inside me just begins to work. An inner spirit comes out and takes over my body. Ideas never ending but never understanding. Writing can't be defined with one word, one sentence, or even one essay. Writing is just something that grows in your heart, and only your heart can understand.
