@Izzy1700 Legally (idk where you are but you get it) it’s totally fine; however as teenagers any significant age gap (perceived or otherwise) brings a LOT of maturity differences. You are not who you were when you were 14 in a lot of regards, and that was only 2 years ago. Between the two of you, there will be a larger maturity gap. I’m not trying to rain on your parade, but it’s not going to be unexpected if you feel like you’re babysitting or parenting him more than you’re dating him. Boys also tend to mature later, which is why ppl ur age tend to date slightly older. If he makes you happy I say do it, but the relationship is going to need extra effort on both sides to happen smoothly
