            and YES EXACTLY the whole us vs them ideology is so stupid I wanna cry, like some people just make messed up decisions and then other stupid people perpetuate stigma and hatred for their entire group? whyyyy can't someone break the cycle
            
            and those stupid boys what the- and YES I really hope the government make good on their promises to reform the gun laws because it is so sad that the shooters were able to carry this out wtf

@IzzytheKoala I’ve been like kind of aware of the antisemitism (a long story about being bullied for being Jewish. I’m not Jewish, a rumour spread that I was and a bunch of boys bullied me for it. Fun.), but it’s so frigging stupid and so sad that it has to escalate this much, especially in a country that’s like notorious for not having these issues with guns and stuff. Also I’m usually always awfully behind on finding things like this out, I find out from word of mouth like 3 months after things happen, but not this time!
            
            This time I found out because one of my friend’s dad’s boyfriend was having a meet up with a bunch of cool gay men in Sydney IN THE PARK the shooting happened in DAY OF the shooting, and left right before it happened. And her dad’s friend’s brother was one of the people who died in it. Which is horrible, because the world is so small, and people are always impacted by things but you never expect things to happen so close to your circles, you know?
            
            And also I’m not looking forward to the rise in Islamophobia bc the shooters were Muslim. This is not good.
            
            So that’s my thoughts, you’re also fire wth who am I even talking to if not the COOLEST PERSON EVER

@xo_ruru i did my placement for uni last week at the hospital! and it was sooo tiring girlie, i was standing up and running around and talking for the better part of eight hours every day BUT i got to meet a lot of cool people and take some x-rays and it was a great time overall! plus wednesday was paediatrics day and the kids were so cute :( giving them stickers was the highlight of my week omg
            other than that ive been having a nice relaxing summer break so far, i got into some good books and the writing is going well! its kind of a hot mess but girlie im finally getting to the part i wrote the whole story around and im so excited aksdhskskjdh
