Hey, hey, gang! It’s finals week in college for me at last! What a great first year of college it was but man the spring semester was rough. Glad I made it, though. And while I will be taking a couple of online summer classes, as well as working my two jobs, it shouldn’t prevent me from coming back this summer to possibly repost Over the Hedge Crossovers and finish it. Stay tuned for updates on that.
Also I have been working on a fanfic in my free time but haven’t shared it because oh biscuits it’s sooooo long!! 35 chapters planned, almost all of them are gonna be 2500+ words. I started planning out the story in summer of 2024, and began writing it in the fall that same year. Although I’ve hit many, many writers blocks with it because I want this fanfic to be the absolute best (and because I’ve been busy, so I don’t have much time to write anyway). So yeah I’ve been trying to write this fanfic for almost 2 years now. Hopefully I’ll get it done when I finish college and start posting some of it eventually.
What is this fanfic? Well here’s a clue: it takes place in a land down under, and it’s getting a movie next year. I’ll say the title of the fanfic: “Difficult Roads, Beautiful Destinations.” I got that phrase from a necklace my high school girlfriend gave me with those words written on the badge that hooked onto the necklace. I hold those words close to my heart to remember her even after her passing.
