Hi!

I'm J. Brenton Parker, an amatuer writer with big dreams of someday being a professional writer, so I can continue avoiding getting a "real" job (i.e. the kind you need to wear pants while doing).

I've been writing semi-seriously since I was about fourteen, though writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My niche is fantasy, from sword-and-sorcery to contemporary dark fantasy; though I've been known to stray into the realm of science fiction on occasion. 

Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Jonathan L. Howard are my idols, so if you enjoy the works of any of those authors, you may find some interest in my works.

My writing goals are to become successful enough that I can meet Neil Gaiman and realistically arrange a playdate for our sons (who are the same age) without it coming across as weird; and to become best friends with J.K. Rowling so she can accurately tell me which Hogwarts House I would be sorted into.
