Here is the short version. I was born and raised on 40 acres  in Idaho. I lived there 'til summer of 1997, when I moved to Washington to be near my parents. I am the middle of seven children including two older sisters, an older brother and three younger brothers, one of whom  has passed on. I have a blended family: his, mine and ours, all grown and out on  their own. Well, one has died. I have quite a few grandchildren and a few great grandchildren and a very large extended family.
My favorite thing in life is to hang out with my kids and their families,  and also with my surviving siblings and their families. If we happen to all get together, that is the best!
 I have dabbled in writing for years since I won an essay contest in the fifth grade and music and art my entire life. 
I love reading, crocheting, helping people, animals and nature. I am here to expand my horizons and learn. I look forward to the input of other people with experience in writing.
