J.C. Ritchie was born and raised in Virginia. He currently lives in Tennessee with his wife and two daughters. When he isn't having lightsaber battles with his children he enjoys reading, writing, and playing his favorite video games. His influences are Brent Weeks, Mark Lawrence, George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling, and J.R.R. Tolkien. He is the author of the Mystics of V'nairia Trilogy and the Magus Wars Series.
