Born in Canada during the 1970s, J. C. Wang moved to Hong Kong in the 1980s. Since then, she has been bilingual and bicultural.

After graduating from Stanford University, she worked at multinational companies over a decade. She initiated a transfer from California to China because she got married to an airline pilot.

Now she is a mother of a boy and a girl. They enjoy her endless stories so much that she feels inspired to translate them from to English.
