After about 8 months I have added a couple more poems to the book. Please check them out and leave some constructive criticism if you feel so inclined. I look forward to hearing from all of you. Peace, Love, and Poetry!

Just wanted to announce that I have continued my writing in my new 2018 book "Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down". I hope I can add to it frequently and I also hope you will all take some time to read and share my work. Cheers!

Well, it is 2018... I think it is time to start a new book. :)

Once inspiration hits I will begin a new book and I hope you will all enjoy reading and following the posts. I also look forward to reading more work from every one of my followers and friends on Wattpad. So please, keep writing and sharing your thoughts, feelings, and stories. Cheers!

Hey JDAnarchy,

I just read about 10 of your poems and I really liked them. I’ve got some poetry on here too, and a few short stories. I’m also a musician (bass player).

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and keep up the writing.

Glad to hear you’re doing well in Slovakia. Sounds like a cool lifestyle you have there. Korea offers a pretty cool lifestyle as well. I’ve met some some good musicians. Had a duo going for a while with a really good sax player. Also got involved in an experimental music scene.

I go back to Canada in the summer, and it’s a nice recharge, although I understand the hankering to backpack.

@Expat43 AH! South Korea, I haven't been there but I have a good friend living there who keeps inviting me. One day I plan to check it out.

So, you're an English teacher? I spent a year teaching English in Moscow, Russia and 13 years in Jakarta, Indonesia as an ESL teacher and Director of Studies. I am now the Academic Co-Ordinator for a language school in Slovakia as well as a full-time ESL teacher.

Slovakia is AMAZING! I have been here for more than a year already and it keeps getting better. I have found new band members and I am writing and recording again, so all is good. Slovakia is treating me VERY well. It has also inspired me to write again (I was on hiatus from writing for a few years to focus on songwriting), and that is why I have joined WattPad.

I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I lived in Toronto for a few years as well. I haven't been back to Canada in about 10 years. I think I really need to make time to go back, but I always prefer spending money on backpacking around Europe. Hahaha.

First of all, thanks so much to those of you who have followed me, commented, voted and spread the word of my writing... it is because of people like you that I keep writing and posting. It is also because of you that I feel once again that I am part of a writing community, and that is a feeling I have missed for a long time.

I have been updating my new book quite often, so I hope I am not overwhelming you. When I am inspired, I tend to write up a storm. Please feel free to send me links to your work as well as I really enjoy reading and promoting the work of my peers.

Thanks once again, and I look forward to many late nights of sharing poetry and prose with all of you. Cheers!
