I'm sure those in the Discord have heard, but those who aren't, here's what's happened.
          	
          	My mother suffered a brain bleed early on the 9th after doctors FAILED to catch that she'd had an aneurysm when she went in for a headache on the 7th. A stroke no one noticed she'd had was the cause, and she was FLOWN into surgery at another hospital.
          	
          	They, thank the lord, managed to seal the bleed, and she's currently in the ICU for three weeks' worth of monitoring before they move her to a normal room, or so I've heard.
          	
          	The family has been devastated absolutely. With my grandmother's stage 3 pancreatic cancer, my father recovering from his own pancreatitis, and now this...?
          	
          	I'm... running on fumes at the moment. 
          	
          	I haven't even been able to see her in person yet. I've only been able to call her, thanking every blessing she has full mobility, able to speak to me, remembers me... I'm trying to keep myself together enough to take care of the kids, my little siblings, while she's struggling to recover. She needs stability right now, and I fear that if I see her, I'll break down.
          	
          	I put a donation goal on my KO-FI, trying to drudge up funds to take the load off things. It won't change what's happening, but maybe... just maybe, I can help them more. If anyone can share the link, whatever little, it helps me tons.
          	
          	This month was supposed to be the start of a better year, better days... but it's not looking up.'

@JHStories101 please take all the time you need. No one blames you for not wanting, or even being able to write, your family is more important and you need the time off. Please, please, please reach out if you need to talk to anyone, don’t forget about your mental health while trying to mange everything. Take care and just know your readers are standing with you.

I am currently on Hiatus due to family emergencies. I must help take care of my grandmother as she's going through cancer treatment, and my father is currently in the hospital. I CANNOT update my stories at this time. More updates on the situation will be in my discord, and any story chapters I manage to finish will be on Patreon first.
