            (   picking up the things she recognised ,   powder stuffed them in the bag ,   hoping they’d at least get some money from all of it .   even if vander didn’t know about it ,   it would at least be nice to have SOME money for themselves .   rummaging through boxes ,   not attempting to cover her tracks ,   too focused on getting whatever was most valuable  )    mylo  doesn’t  know  how  to  shut  up — -    but  what  if  vander  finds  out ?    he’s  gonna  be  so  mad .

[  vi  stood  in  silence,    eyes  scanning  around  the  room.    this  looked  different  than  most  of  the  places  they'd  go,    it  seemed  more  lavish,    like  everything  within  the  room  was  valuable ..    she  stepped  further  into  the  room,   picking  up  a  few  small  things  that  wouldn't  take  up  an  overwhelming  amount  of  space,    and  setting  them  within  the  bag.    when  powder  spoke,    her  eyes  flickered  over  for  a  moment,    head  shaken  dismissively.    ]    no ..    if  he  finds  out  about  these,    it's  never  through  me—    mylo  has  a  big  mouth.

            (  stood back ,   watching her sister open the door with a slightly curious look on her face —  silent cheering when she realised it had been left unlocked .   following her inside afterwards ,   eyes lit up in wonder as she looked around the room .   it was mind blowing to powder ,   seeing how other people lived ,   how they had money to spend ,   instead of fighting for everything .    surely they’d want to donate stuff to them ,   right ?    not like they got a choice ,   anyway  )     you  didn’t  tell  vander ,  did  you ?    vi —   he’s  gonna  be  so  mad  if  he  finds  out !

"    did her shoulder hurt ?    absolutely .    but she wasn't about to break down ,   or kick and scream when the rag is held against it ,   letting the other woman do whatever to fix it ,   wary gaze watching each and every move .    taking the painkillers ,    pretending to take them .   promptly spat on the floor as soon as she was out of sight .   taking pills from anyone seemed like a bad idea .

            [  the one time jinx managed to sleep ,  practically knocked out cold at her desk ,   remnants of the project from the night before scattered around .   the feeling of a marker against her skin made her stir from her slumber ,  but she didn't open her eyes .   it was the giggling that made her finally open her eyes ,   greeted with the sight of isha stood infront of her ,   a marker pointed suspiciously close to her face . . .    she knew what had just happened .   head lifted to look in the mirror ,   before turning to look at the young girl  ]     tryna  make  me  look  pretty ?   c'mon ,   draw  on  the  walls ,   floor ,   sevika  for  all  i  care .
