I have really enjoyed reading The Flame Game, and I'm sad that no additional chapters seem to be forthcoming. The story is well-written and well-paced, bringing me into the fictional world from the first chapters. All of the characters are realistic, sometimes painfully so. I'm invested in their stories and the mystery of the Lake End arsonist. Every chapter advances the plot and leads readers deeper into the tangled web of the characters' lives. This book is a fantastic choice for readers who enjoyed Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. It will also appeal to people who enjoy realistic fiction and drama. I encourage everyone to give The Flame Game a chance, whether or not it's your preferred genre of book. I sincerely hope the author chooses to finish the book someday--I will be coming back to read it again start to finish if and when they do. https://www.wattpad.com/1297872416-the-flame-game-lake-end-elementary-escape-room

Hard-hitting former police inspector John Daniels returns to the police station he once worked for to enlighten the new Chief Superintendent about events that occurred thirty years ago. His story of personal tragedy, the pursuit of vengeance, and touching, believable personal growth provides not only an exciting ride but a relatable journey. Retribution - A Dish Served Cold is a fast-paced, thrilling novel perfect for lovers of action, suspense, and true crime. Featuring realistic, gritty characters, the narrative keeps readers turning pages and wanting more right up until the very last line. John and the antagonist are evenly matched, and the plot is full of unexpected, interesting twists and turns. The story even features a healthy romance that makes its participants better people. Although the book isn't in a genre I normally seek out, I have thoroughly enjoyed the read and encourage all readers to give this story a chance.

I'm sorry for all of you who have been keeping up with In The Name of Love. I'm going to have to start updating on Saturdays only, instead of both Wednesdays and Saturdays. Life is really hectic and my writing isn't keeping pace with my updating, so I have to slow down the updates to maintain quality and balance.
