Well, it's been a long time since I've been here...
I haven't given up on The Gods That Keep Them, but I just haven't been in the right place to write that story. I don't know what that says about my state of mind, seeing as how the new story I've started is about depression and alcoholism, but there you go. Please check out the first chapter of the new story and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear comments, good or bad. Love ya.

As I post these updates to FWAS, it's clear to me that I wrote it before The Gods That Keep Them. The writing is a little less pro, but the story is still damn good. I'm gonna need to go back and edit/rewrite the heck out of this one. But I'll keep posting them as is, and look forward to words of advice from fellow Wattpadders!
Well, it's been a looooong time! I've finally decided to start posting the chapters of Fight Without a Sword that are already written. I know some of you are still waiting on more from The Gods That Keep Them, but for now you'll have to whet your appetites on my OTHER dwarven tale! Today's update is Chapter 5 in our tale, and finds Braka and Strond banished from the kingdom!

Chapter 4 of Fight Without a Sword is now live! The King knows about the relationship between Braka and Strond... will he be displeased they've broken the law or happy they saved the world?

@squigmo Thanks, yo! I thought the old one looked kinda like a movie poster for a Wes Anderson film. This new one looks more like a fantasy novel, right? I promise to deliver more dwarves soon!

Hey readers! As you might have guessed, I've put a pause on TGTKT. Reasons are that it is currently entered in a Geek & Sundry publishing contest. Once that is over, I will begin posting again. In the meantime, the book I wrote PRIOR to The Gods That Keep Them is now being posted!
The new chapter of Fight Without a Sword finds the dwarves in a very bad spot, but with a little help from a human, they just might make it out alive.
