J. M. Wilson was born and raised and currently lives in Texas. She has a master's degree in English and Creative Writing.
She has a gray tabby cat named Ziyal, who offers moral support by sitting on her keyboard while she is typing. She also has a Husky/Shepard mix, named Athena, who reminds her when it's time for a walk by dancing around and vocalizing that it's time for 'walkies'.
J. M.'s favorite authors include J. R.R. Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, and Jane Austen.
