I'm on here hoping to stumble into great stories, and gain support for my first finished novel, "Shamble For A Cure." 

For almost twenty years, Martha and Frank comfortably lived on a routine - keep busy during the week, relax with their son on weekends, and have Martha's father, Pops, over once a week for dinner. At some point, they knew their routine would change whenever Pops passed away. They just never knew that new routine would start with having to subdue him after he stood back up and attacked.

Martha and Frank soon find their lives upended as they kickstart a walk-for-a-cure campaign to help Pops, and any other zombies like him. With the help of local newspaper "Parnormal Pennsylvania", they gain some early supporters, and quickly reshape their lives around their new cause. As the campaign falters, though, fights break out between caring for Pops and locking him away, and Martha begins questioning if their cause will succeed with their family intact - especially when anti-zombie extremists begin threatening both.

At 100k words, "Shamble For A Cure" blends sci-fi, humor, and a nuclear family ready to go off into a story as charming as it is heartbreaking. It's only missing one thing - YOU, the reader! The first few chapters of the story are available on my profile.
