Will we see after Galactic Empire's retreat from Earth after their failed invasion or failed occupation that has Earth's creme of the crop SF/SOF operators already battle hardened against Imperial invaders get surviving weapons R&D teams to develop specialized ammo for their decked out carbine size assault rifles that are loaded with this specialized armor piercing round (can punch through literally any body armor even Beskar armor worn by Mandalorian warriors who allied with Galactic Empire like hot knife through butter) won't be a logistic burden when deployed to Imperial controlled territory doing special recon, irregular warfare & hunter killer missions? Em sort of yeah I think it's more like operators than commandos for Terran SF/SOF units cause "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one" needed while alongside Earth's intel agencies' paramilitary officers to perform tons of unconventional/irregular covert ops behind enemy lines to misdirect Imperial intelligence agencies thought dealing with other Rebel cells as the first Terran force using cutting edge yet reliable arsenal (mainly firearms with some blasters though most Terrans despise energy weapons than their kinetic energy weapons)/ammo/armor/camo clothing/gear/gadgets/tools/vehicles/food/first aid/survival equipment that Earth has to offer after getting rid of Galactic Empire's invaders also using captured/reverse engineered Imperial tech that need to gather tons of valuable intel to prepare for official Expeditionary forces ready to bring in the pain to Imperial forces along side Rebel Alliance forces (begrudgingly at best for Terrans loath Rebel's restore Galactic Republic BS with more to wipe the galaxy clean without Imperial filth that includes set up a new galactic gov favorable for Terrans in the long run) from all angles similar to 2nd Punic War's Hannibal Barca's war against Roman Republic albeit more refined than ever to not be forced to fight at unfavorable combat scenarios. While Rebel Alliance & other resistance groups at first glad to have their Terran allies got legitimate military to hit Imperials so hard, though as time passes the leaders of those groups (include militarized factions) concerned Terrans' desire for ultimate revenge mixed with primal instincts of "Survival of the Fittest" mentality far exceeds any 'civilized' manner such as tons of war crimes (justified by vengeful Terrans with legit hard reasons who suffered from invasion) rather than peace after war would later cause heaps of tensions that could become problematic. Yes, I believe earth will very much want revenge after the war is over. Assuming we do win, highly trained small teams with scavenged Imperial equipment will be all earth would be able to send before they have the chance to build their own space fleet. They would likely perform small commando and assassination missions aimed at weakening the Imperials ability to launch another invasion of Earth again. Or they will be recon missions to learn about the rest of the galaxy. The weapons used by these commandos will be the best of the best that Earth and the stolen Imperial tech has to offer
Hey ya! I just to apologize for not responding to comment the last two weeks. Some of you on my other account might have noticed mentions of me taking a break. That gap was me attending Army Air Assault School. It was very difficult, so I took a break from writing and commenting while I focused on earning my wings. Thanks for understanding! Hello! This is an announcement about my current situation.
No need to worry! I haven't been hit by a bus or something crazy!
That being said, I am a university student and summer is coming soon! So, in two weeks I will have my final exams and projects. Because of this, I will have to respond to comments less and slow down interacting with readers.
This is unfortunate as I love reading and responding to comments. That being said, I may take a long time to read comments as I prioritize my work.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the State of the Story for Arc Two of Empire Vs Earth. This is so I can keep on tasks and keep my fanfiction running on schedule.
Sorry for the late responses and typos in the new chapters. I was at a field training exercise this weekend, so I am just able to access a computer and write this out.
I want to thank everyone for reading this story! Chapters will continue to be posted at the same time for the foreseeable future! However, you might have noticed that there was a bonus chapter, 2.X.
I made this change in response to commenters asking for more international stories. I am inspired by the superhero web novel Worm for my chapter system. This novel has a chapter X at the end of each arc. This takes place in the POV of a new character outside the main character and serves to build the world.
I plan to make this a recurring part of the story. I will be posting an interlude chapter on the same day as each finale chapter. Think of them as an extra treat after each arc that adds flavor to the main plot. As I said, I made this in response to fan demand. So, if anyone has any ideas for a country they want to see, tell me! I chose Japan because @Blackhat0427 suggested it, so I hope others come forward to offer ideas if they so please!

Once again, this shows me that readers are enjoying the current story. However, I noticed slight dips in both chapters with less action and less words. I will try to make longer chapters in the future with more combat, in fact, I have two 10K+ word chapters planned for the next arc. I also think that the next arc will have the largest average word count per chapter.
