An avid reader and writer from a young age, I have had experience writing professionally, academically, and as an aspiring fiction author.  With degrees from Iowa State University and Pacific Oaks College, I have enjoyed writing scientifically and logically.  Yet, that does not have as much heart as a great piece of fiction, and therefore I am on here to try my hand at growing my fiction audience.  :)  Many of the places I write about I have actually been: Europe, Africa, Asia, and of course around my home the USA.  I am greatly looking forward to making connections with other authors on here!  Other personal info: I teach a college-level class part-time while I stay home with my three kids during the day.  I'm married to my best friend and soul mate, and we live in the Midwest.
