Who am I? I'm still trying to figure that one out myself. On the surface I'm mother to a wonderful special needs son and an amazing little girl. I am the wife of an incredibly stubborn man (although he says the same about me, so I'm sure he'd argue that), the daughter of two parents who have always supported me (or at least kept their head-shaking to a minimum), and friend to quite a few quirky people. Dig a little deeper, however, and you'll find someone who enjoys quiet evenings at home, who finds humor one of the most important characteristics of a person, and someone who is still trying to decide what they want to be when they grow up :-P
I've been writing for what seems like forever, and I knew I wanted to be a "real" writer when my 3rd grade teacher had me stand in front of the class to read my short story, The Pink and Green Cloud. Not one person laughed (except where they were supposed to), and at that very moment I knew that *somehow* I would find a way to share my stories with other people.
I have participated in NaNoWriMo since 2012. Because of that event, I now have three completed works and three others in varying stages. I don't have the extra time to work on the social aspect of this site, but I hope to "meet" some new people and get some constructive feedback on what I share :-)
